When I was using Corel Draw for the first time I didn’t know a lot about the program. I learned by practice and observation just like how anybody else learns any other program.
When I needed my vector files to be converted from Adobe Illustrator to Corel Draw, I would use Corel Trace. It had some good and bad aspects in the program. It converted the file but the edges were sometimes jagged. Still okay just not great.
Save as Windows Meta file in Adobe Illustrator then open it in Corel Draw. It saves the graphic as a vector. Both file types are readible in Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator in Windows platforms. As long as everything is outlined before converting the image should be fine.
